Facial Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage Training Course

Facial manual lymphatic drainage massage training with assessed case studies
Learn how to deliver a gentle, professional facial lymphatic drainage massage treatment safely, confidently and to industry standards.
This course is designed for qualified facial therapists who want to offer a specialist facial massage treatment that supports facial puffiness, tired-looking skin, fluid retention and deep relaxation.
Facial manual lymphatic drainage massage is not the same as a standard facial massage, and it is not facial sculpting.
It is a light, rhythmical and precise treatment that requires correct pressure, direction, sequencing and an understanding of the lymphatic pathways of the face, neck and décolleté.
This is not a quick “turn up and get a certificate” course.
You will complete guided home study, attend a practical training day and submit case studies so your competence can be assessed before certification.

Why choose this facial manual lymphatic drainage massage course?
Facial lymphatic drainage massage may look simple, but it is a precise treatment.
The pressure must be light. The rhythm must be slow. The direction must be correct. The neck and drainage points must be prepared before working over the face.
If the technique is too heavy or rushed, it stops being lymphatic drainage and simply becomes another facial massage.
This course teaches you how to perform the treatment professionally, safely and with purpose.
You will learn how to support the natural movement of lymph through the face, neck and décolleté, while also understanding when treatment may need to be adapted, postponed or avoided.
You will not be left to work it all out alone after the training day. Your case studies are reviewed before certification, so you have the opportunity to practise, build confidence and receive feedback.

Why case studies matter
Case studies are an important part of learning properly.
They give you the opportunity to practise on real people, develop confidence, refine your technique and show that you can carry out the treatment safely and professionally.
They also help you move from “I’ve attended a course” to “I can actually perform this treatment competently.”
That matters.
Your clients deserve more than a rushed certificate, and so do you.
By the end of the course, you will be able to
Carry out a professional facial manual lymphatic drainage massage treatment from consultation to aftercare
Prepare the client and treatment area safely
Identify key facial lymph nodes and drainage pathways
Use correct lymphatic drainage pressure, rhythm and direction
Open the terminus and prepare the neck before facial drainage
Perform lymphatic drainage movements over the face, neck and décolleté
Work safely around the eye area
Recognise common contraindications and cautions
Adapt the treatment to suit different client needs
Give suitable aftercare advice
Create different facial lymphatic drainage treatment options for your service menu

What makes this different from cheaper facial massage courses?
There are many low-cost facial massage courses available, but not all training is equal.
With Jane Bryan Beauty Training, the focus is on professional competence, not just attendance.
You receive structured learning, practical training, case study requirements and feedback before certification. This gives you a stronger foundation and helps you feel more confident when working with real clients.
Facial lymphatic drainage massage requires more than soft hands and a relaxing routine.
You need to understand pressure, rhythm, direction, client suitability, contraindications, facial drainage pathways and safe adaptation.
