Course structure

This course includes:

Guided home study

You will complete approximately 11 guided learning hours, including 4 hours of practice on a dummy head, which is provided on loan.

This home study helps you understand the theory behind eyelash extensions and gives you early practice before your practical training day.

1-day practical training

Your practical training day focuses on hands-on skills, lash application, isolation, treatment routine, hygiene, technique correction, safe working practice and building confidence.

Because eyelash extensions require precision, patience and control, the practical day is supported by case study work after training.

5 assessed case studies

After your practical training, you will complete 5 eyelash extensions case studies.

These are submitted for review before certification. This ensures you have practiced the treatment, developed your technique and can show evidence of competence.

Patch testing requirement

A patch test must be carried out 48 hours before the course.

This can be done at the training venue if you live nearby, or by purchasing your own kit.

If you are the only student on the course, you must carry out the patch test on your model.

Patch testing is an important part of safe professional practice, especially when using lash adhesive close to the eye area.
