However, lash lift treatments still require proper training. You are working close to the eyes and using professional lifting and tinting products, so you need to understand consultation, patch testing, hygiene, lash health, safe product application, processing times, contraindications, aftercare and troubleshooting.

This is not a quick “watch and copy” course.

You will complete home study, attend practical training and submit assessed case studies so your competence can be reviewed before certification.

Course structure

This course includes:

Home study

You will complete approximately 4 hours of home study and a questionnaire before or alongside your practical training.

This helps you understand the theory behind lash lifting and prepares you for the practical training session.

Half-day practical training

Your practical training focuses on hands-on skills, lash lift technique, lash tinting, consultation, patch testing, hygiene, safe product use, treatment routine and building confidence.

3 assessed case studies

After your practical training, you will complete 3 lash lift case studies.

These are submitted for review before certification. This ensures you have practiced the treatment, developed your technique and can show evidence of competence.

Patch testing requirement

A patch test must be carried out 48 hours before the course.

This can be done at the training venue if you live nearby, or by purchasing your own kit.

If you are the only student on the course, you must carry out the patch test on your model.

Patch testing is an important part of safe professional practice, especially when using lifting and tinting products close to the eye area.
