Course structure

This course includes:

Guided home study

You will complete approximately 5 hours of guided home study before or alongside your practical training.

This helps you understand the theory behind lash and brow tinting and shaping and prepares you for the practical training session.

Half-day practical training

Your practical training focuses on hands-on skills, tint selection, lash tinting, brow tinting, brow shaping, waxing, tweezing, trimming, hygiene, safe working practice and building confidence.

3 assessed case studies

After your practical training, you will complete 3 lash and brow tinting and shaping case studies.

These are submitted for review before certification. This ensures you have practiced the treatment, developed your technique and can show evidence of competence.

Patch testing requirement

A patch test must be carried out 48 hours before the course.

This can be done at the training venue if you live nearby, or by purchasing your own kit.

If you are the only student on the course, you must carry out the patch test on your model.

Patch testing is an important part of safe professional practice, especially when using tinting products close to the eye area.
